A ball is placed on the dot, cue ball is placed anywhere behind the headstring to start. All you have to do to get a point is hit the rail first then contact the ball. Nothing has to hit a rail. If the ball goes in, its still a point and it gets spotted. It can be 1 player for a test trial or 2 player to a certain amount of points.
