I want my stick back!

I had one of my shafts sent in to Winston Salem via a connected source. Needed moori tip, new ferrule, and the collar joint was loose(I didn't know till a friend showed me). 2 weeks later I got it back and the collar joint was 1/32 to 1/16 off center so when screwed on, the stick wobbled badly. Anyhow they needed the butt end this time to make sure it's fixed properly so I gave them everything and told them to put moori tip and fix the "clank" sound on the second shaft(ferrule seems alright...clueless where its coming from).

It's 2 days since they took it and I'm going insane, primarily, because I only have one cue :( I hope it's not another 2 weeks! :crying:

Did you send it back to the original maker for the repair work?

I can't really do that... it was a custom ordered Mizerak snakeskin wrap from back in '92. But the friends around me seem to think this guy will have it fixed ok. I'm just kind of bummed having to go without my "baby" for more than 3 days lol.

Two weeks?? The cue has been gone two days lol.

Gonna have to put ironwill on suicide watch if the cue gets lost in the mail for a few weeks.

Everything should be fine...but for goodness sakes, don't ever order a custom cue....you'll perish before it's ever completed...LoL!!!!

Thread title: "I want my stick back!"

<GASP!> "He calls his 'baby' the disrespectful term, 'stick'?!? Well, why don't you don a leather glove now, and slap your 'baby' in the face!" :p :D

J/K, of course. I agree that you should look at having a spare cue just for situations like this. And like another poster said, if you ever order a custom cue, you might die in the process. Like they say in your favorite restaurant -- "Good food takes time to cook, please be patient while we prepare your delicious meal." Give the repairman a chance -- good work takes time.

Hope this helps,
-Sean

I sent my z shaft back to predator for a new ferrule and also a Ikon 2 w 314 shaft that I have had for 2 months and the butt is warped- Its been 3 months and each week I call " It will be there next week" So finally one of the higher ups call me and say " The ferrule we will warranty but the IKON 2 we wont warranty the butt but we will give you 20% off your next predator purchase.

All i can say is thanks predator not standing behind your cues - Send me my damn property back

Sorry just me venting
2 weeks isnt bad at all for repairs -

That is BS! Don't surprise me though, Predator is far over priced.
