A DVD can't watch and give you feedback. You can't ask a DVD a question. One problem in finding a teacher is does your personality, and your mix. What can they teach you that you can not learn from reading a book? Watching a DVD, or U-tube?
In 2021 that is so much instructional material in print, on DVDs, and U-tube I am surprise there are not more great players.
Reason there are not is people read, view something once, missing or not remember 90% of what they just learned.
Also people hate this simple repetitive task to build mussel memory call practice. Most people hate practicing, playing is not quality practicing.

Yeah, I get that, and I would be better if I practiced more, but I'm looking for the sort of help that I think is only possible in one on one instruction.
Specifically I feel I need help with my stroke. It's an issue that I just can't figure out how to correct.
KingC is a solid guyThanks for all the help realkingcobra!
Yeah. Sure. I'm still looking. Do you want to teach me how to play pool?Look at the last page of the new members introduce yourself thread if you are still looking. Under your intro.
Nope. I just like to play, and have 2 jobs already. If you lived near Chicago I’d play you sometime. For fun or table time. I don’t believe nobody around you has chimed in about playing some. there’s a new member with an intro after your intro that says he teaches online. Tom WorthYeah. Sure. I'm still looking. Hey I should start a thread right now “looking for people to play with” or something to that effect. Ah probably would get a bit weird. But why isn’t there one?
