i wanted to ask cue maker remove ring information

i have a Jump/break cue recently it went wrong it got Wob, dont know how so i need to replace the shaft, and i found other extra break shaft in my house i was wonder is easy to remove the ring work's and to replace it into my other shaft? please help

I would not use the term easy. But it can almost certainly be done by a quality repairman or cuemaker.

yes i do understand your point..for asking a repairman or a cuemaker to do..but recently i ask alots of cuemaker's and they cosh me arm and leg's just to change the ring for the joint , i mean yes we are a pool player and sometimes we want to learn to do things on our own so we know how to take care of the cue's that we love.

All you need to repair this yourself is to buy a lathe and all the tooling. Otherwise spend about $30.00 for an hour's work.

You mean it can't be done on a wood lathe and just eyeball the whole work?

i asked few peopels and tehy charge more then 30$ for the work's

As it should.
Remove ring, remove collar of good shaft, put ring in and recollar dead on.
Then finish and polish.
I say $75.
