I do want to get to some of the events. I haven't so far. Have you been?
Not in person, but I have watched most of them. I seem to remember reading somewhere recently that we are apt to see a change in format for next year's events, but I don't think it said what the change(s) would be.

I haven't read that and since it didn't change after the womens 10-ball championship, I figured it wasn't going to change
which is fine. I just wonder if the format is keeping them from getting ongoing viewership.

Many here don't like the format. Railbirds are not the core audience, they're catering to attract mainstream viewers. Chris Melling's famous 8-ball run-out garnered 22 million views, while John Schmidt was struggling to get 1,000 likes on some of his record attempts.
