WPA President Ian Andersen Links

I've been trying to search for links Ian Andersen's statements that assured us that WTB funding was going to be in good order and that there will be a bonus on top of the $400,000.

The guy's gotta own up to it. I am sure that these statements had convinced many players to purchase their plane tickets to come and join the WTB.

I am not implying that Makabenta will not pay ever, but Andersen should not be this silent now that as of this writing, WTB obligations have not yet been fully paid.

Thanks pooladdict. Found it, thanks.

I have to be fair. The WPA Press release did not say that Andersen was the author.

Though Andersen has command responsibility in a press release that convinced players to travel to Manila because it said that there "may" be more prizes than the $400,000.

This press release came out because of the warnings that indeed, payment may go wrong - if WTBC was going to materialize.

So what sayeth WPA about this delay? And what happened to the additional prizes?
