id like to buy a cue lathe

Depends on what you are planning. For now and in the future.

Both Chris and Todd. Check the sites out and see what suits your needs the most.

Be more specific on what your plans are. Then people that have experience with all lathes, can help guide you into what you are looking for.

Ya know. Don't need to buy a Cessna Citation or a Lear if you're just planning on puddling around the sky close to home.

Willee cue.... but you bought a porper B...

True ... but the my Lathe will be used for things other than cue making.
I still may add a Hightower lathe sometime in the future but right now I had to make a choice. The fact the Porper B was in stock for immediate delivery was a factor but not the only factor.
A friend here in Corpus Christi just bought a new Hightower lathe and since I have access to it I chose the Porper B to try to get the best of both worlds.

I have always liked the Porper Lathes.

Every time one came up, I was as usual, a day late and a dollar short.

Now that I have a Deluxe and another Hightower, a proto type lathe that Lee sold me for shafts and finishes, I'm pretty much set.

Definitely in the future, going to look into turning the second Deluxe into one of Todd's CNC lathes.

But regardless, there is a lathe for everyone and every job out there.
