Well Pool has always been recreation, fun, and playing with friends. Being honest it is great game one can play from childhood to old age.
I recall how I got started in Pool. Boys Club just outside of Coral Gables in Miami.
Tables wobbled, sticks were crooked, chalk was chalk. We cared not about nothing as far as equiptment.
Should have been know as poor boys club, as most of the kids where not from affluent families.
We played 8 ball from open to close, one game at a time. You got to play, and stay on tables until you lost. Then back in line you went to play again.
Pool was one of the three or four things boys wanted to do.
Gambling on games was no no. Not much of problem when you had no money, and a cold coke or rc cola was 5 cents.
Just got to figure out how to get people to put down $1,200.00 I-phones, and play pool.
