Ideas to improve the IPT DVD production.

With the broadcast ideas flowing strong I figured we could start a thread that the IPT may be able to get some hints from to see what pool fans may want on their IPT dvds.

Here are a couple things I would like.

Optional Audio Commentary. (Have an option to turn the commentary off, or even have it in a different language for pool fans who English is not their main tounge)

Alternate Angles. DVD players have the alternate angle button that some DVDs have the option of taking advantage of. Since we know that every match in the King of the Hill tourny was filmed with 2 cameras (plus an overhead cam or was that the second camera?) have the option to alternate between the cameras with the alternate angle button. (This option is great for porn, so why not take some clues from that and use it for pool LOL)

Anyone else have any ideas that the IPT may be able to use in the production of the DVDs?

I have a friend who wears a ball cap when he plays, I know that right now ball caps are not allowed in the dress code, but it sure would be nice to
put a small camera in the hat so you could see the players view of the shot.
Maybe even a mike for the player.
At the very least it would be good for a training video.

Im pretty sure that a lot of the players were miced, you can here comments by them in the KOH promo on the IPT website.

I think the "Hat Cam" idea is a good idea but some players may be distracted with hats and refuse to wear on with a camera rig in it. Plus, it the hat is slightly crooked, the shot will look off to the viewer.

I think they should take another idea from porn and have naked women in the broadcast.
Naked women improve everything.
