Identify cue

I run a pawnshop and I am pretty knowlagable with cues. This did not have a maker on it and wanted to see if anyone could identify. This cue has ring work In the middle of the forearm. Thanks

I think it’s a Richard Black. Repaired as said above.

It would be a real shame if the cue was butchered to remove an inscription to the original owner.

I’ve had three Blacks…the pin was longer on every one.
It‘d be nice to to see the points and the bumper.

The cue was sent to the guillotine. It’s very likely not the original joint.

I’m far from an expert, but I believe the butt sleeve would be less crowded and the rings would lineup on a Gus.

Sure looks like a repair job - the key to value would be straightness and playability of the cue - so out of a pawn shop not something that I would spend too much to buy - honestly
