If Pool was an Olympic Sport...

would it be in the Winter or Summer Olympics?? Discuss amongst yourselves.

Although I doubt the olympics would ever consider pool a winter sport, I most definitly think it is. hell just the fun of driving to the pool hall in the winter makes it a winter sport.

I think however if you look at other year round sports like gymnastics and swimming, they would most likely put pool as a summer sport.

Every single winter olympic sport has snow/ice involved with the game. Since pool doesn't have this im pretty sure it would go under summer.

If I recall correctly, about 10-15 years ago, I thought it was being considered as a spectator event, and if enough interest was generated, might become an actual event similar to the Mosconi Cup. Does anyone else remember, or do I just need to go take my medication?

I remember!......they had it as a "demonstration" event. I'm not sure what happened after that? I think they are like a fraternity that looks down their collective nose at cue sports...
