Since I have nothing personal against anyone here, all I can offer is some advice, somethings should be kept in its proper place, bragging about some drunk lady in public will always generate a negitive respoce... Offending someone for no apparent reason on the other hand is not only very insenitive, it shows that most likely the two have something in common..

What a great vacation!!!!! I can play a little bit for a league player. I know some great players who play in leagues. Let's not knock the league players.
Now as far as taking the drunk womans money because she was running her mouth, I don't agree with that. To each their own, but I think it lacks class. Maybe you should have played her for a $5 bill and tried to teach her something. Or just told her you'd play and not took her money at all. Just my opinion. Sam

You could play her, beat her and give the money back with a lesson that her game is not at the hundred dollar level, you could simply befriend her and invite her to play leagues since she is enthusiastic about playing.

Last week a girl comes up to me and wants to bet $5 on this kid who was playing in the bar before I got there. It's her last $5, just one game. She's thinking she'll make enough for one more drink. I told her I'll play him a few games, but I won't bet with her. I know everyone in central In. who can play at my speed. He won 1 game out of about 8, I bought her a drink and made new friend. Gee, talk about puffing up in cyberspace. You can't take "my" girls anywhere or at anything, except being an obnoxious, self-inflated, egoistic, classless bore, because they are not "my" girls. I don't own them. I will bring them because they will enjoy beating your no-heart, nit ass into the felt.

You'll never get to my area because you probably will never make enough to get bus fare and with your thumb so far up your ass you can't even hitchike properly.

Sam a "7" isnt bad at all, Nothing wrong with leagues either, I think thats an effective way for players to get together and have fun... When I lived in Arkansas I played in several APPA tournaments.. I was a 9 speed at the time, Id say Im a lil better now...


P.s. Lately, I have been playing 5 speed...... geeez, Im in a slump from hell.... I dont think Ive played this bad ever! maybe I lost the will to win......

The super 7 is the top here. I'm not a bit ashamed of playing leagues. I've played my share of people passing thru Indiana. I've beaten some pro players, mostly on bar tables, but a few on big tables in tournaments. I love pool and I don't try to steal from people who don't play so well. I'd put myself in the top 10 in Indiana. There's about 3 or 4 guys that I won't play without some kind of weight, but most of the guys who can play, I consider friends and don't play them for more than $10-20 a game.

I'm just a beginner but I'm willing to try you out. I don't really play high stakes like $100...but if you give me a fair spot me, I'll bet some. I don't play good, which several of the people on this forum can back me up on. My friend is an apa5 and he spots me 3 games to 9. What apa level are you? I'll be at Chris's tonight (do they have an atm there?).

I stopped into a local pub tonight for a couple of beers. While I'm sitting there, a girl was running her pie hole about playing anyone for $100. A dream come true!! After waxing her out of her cash, I realized that I could literally make a living off of drunk idiots who think they can play pool. I'd imagine 98% of people you play in local pubs couldn't run 3 friggin' balls on a nine footer. Good luck.
