I'm considering a Fanelli Butterfly cue. Does anybody have one?

I have a few questions:

1. Are you happy with your purchase?

2. How does it hit?

3. Is the hit solid?

4. Does the playability match the beauty of the cue?
4b. Is your Fanelli used as an everyday player? How does it hold up?

5. What is your opinion of Fanellli quality and craftsmanship versus some of the other top Cuemakers i.e. (Tad, JossWest, Southwest, Tascarella, Dennis Searing)?

6. Is the cue heavy?

7. How is the resale value?

8. Is it a desirable Collector's cue?

Can I get a bump?

hi bumbay,

my first post, better make it a good one ;-)

i currently own two fanellis and a dzuricky, all butterfly cues.

to answer your question from my point of view:
- weight depends on what weight you order
- craftmanship is extremely good: if I compare the details (such as wrap, points etc) with other cues, my Fanellis stand out
- i have used both as "daily" players: they hold up pretty well, very solid hit with predator z-shaft (almost like playing with one piece cue), just the way I like it.

personally, i think that Fanelli makes the best looking cues if you are into butterfly cues.

I had one of Paul's cues. Superb in all aspects of construction and playability. This particular cue had a leather wrap that was seamless too. My cue was light, just over 18oz. It really moved the cue ball well.

Thanks, excellent feedback. This is just what I was looking for.

I starting to like butterflies more and more. The more of Paul's work I see the more I love butterfly cues.

Thank You. This definitely helps.
