ok, fellow posters, its always a good thing when one gets to order/purchase a new custom cue. just got informed from the indiana state highway commission they are buying about .05 of an acre of ground i own and i am pocketing about $1,500 for this. something about a new "turn lane" for the road in this area.

anyway, i have about $1,000 to pay off the credit card, and then get to determine what custom cue i want to go with. thinking of a Jerry Olivier Cue. i saw one of his for about $450 that i kind of like.

anybody want to make any recommendations here?

man, what exciting times. . . . . . . . . . .

Recommendations...

My own personal recommendation is an Auerbach. I still play with mine, and it hits Superb. I also had John Parker make me a break/jump and and it breaks like a godforsaken tree trunk. Its like shooting the cue ball out of a cannon. I've had as many people try to buy the break/jump as I have the shooting cue. Geez! Call John Parker at 1-918-381-9364, tell him your friend Doug told you to call and he will work you out a great deal. I guartantee it.

Or for that matter, what happened to the highly talked about "Lucasi w/ Predator" combo that you talked about??? You spent good money to have that predator turned down to where you were happy with it....now you're buying a new one?????

Oh, and Doug....doesn't John Parker own Auerbach??? So, wouldn't your j/b be and Auerbach as well?

nothings wrong with the Cuetec, its just not a top of the line cue. but dont tell Allison i said so.

still consider the Lucasi/Predator combo my #1 cue right now.

why not buy another cue?
a guy cant have too many toys in this world ya know.

I purchased a Jerry Olivier as my first good cue and still have it and highly reccomend his cues. I did play with many others before I tried his and really liked the feel of it. If you can I would tell you to buy what feels good not just looks good. If you are purchasing from a distributor find out about there return policy just in case you do not like it. Just my thoughts.
Good Luck,
Dan

I did't tell Allison, but Earl found out and stormed out of the room!
