HELLO ALL. MY NAME IS JAY AND I LIVE IN CEDAR CREEK TEXAS. JUST ABOUT 20 MINUTES SOUTH OF AUSTIN TEXAS. WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE KNEW OF ANY GOOD POOL TOURNAMENTS ANYWHERE AROUND TEXAS AREA.

Well, there's really only one tournament tour that travels the Lone Star state. You can find them at www.fasteddies9balltour.com. I believe the same folks that run that tour are organizing a 1-Pocket/ 9-Ball event at Bogie's Billiards here in Houston in April. If your interested further, PM ironman. He's the man with the plan.
 
Almost forgot the 4th annual South Padre Island Open is Jan 27-29 at their convention center. There's a post about it further down in the Tournament Annoucements section.

If you like 9-Ball, the Houston Open is held bi-annually down in League City, Texas at Legends Billiards. Very high caliber turnout. Gabe Owen won the last one. Hope this helps.

thanks for the info. yea i knew about all the tournaments you listed. i was looking for weekly touraments if you may know any?

There is a monthly 9-ball tournament in Abilene second saturday, $25 entry plus calcutta, lots of action afterward if you want it. there are a couple more tournaments the 1st and 3rd saturdays in Odessa and Big Spring, can't remember. which one is on which day right now.
