I'm new and looking for the best instruction

Hey Hal. PM me about those Danny Basavich DVD's if you could please. I would be interested in possibly buying them. Thanks.

both Timothy White and Randy Goettlicher are both very good BCA Master Instructors.

!

Tim is NOT a BCA Master instructor. He is a BSACA Master instructor. The BSACA is his own school, so I suppose he can have any title he wants. Tim and the BCA parted ways a few years ago.

Randy is a BCA Master instructor, and in my opinion, one of the best in the country.

Mark, I am quite sure no one else posted your messages but you and as you know there was no mention of "rent" in any of them  . Even if so "RENTING" is illegal also. I checked with a friend of mine in the FBI and he informed me that the penalty for this is 5 years and $50,000 fine per occurance. That would be like buying a bunch of movies at Wal Mart and opening up your own video store with them. I would highly suggest you not solicit that type of offer in a public forum.

well.......for someone who asked for help, its kinda stupid to be making comments like this on your 5th post or so...........

i think i will refrain from helping you at all.

nah it's completely normal to consult with the FBI where there's the slightest chance of a wrongdoing...especially when it involves $5 and the internet

Yes. I think he's not sincere.

What a host of comments. I am new to the forum thing and didn't realize everyone is family here. Didn't mean to step on others feet. I was just a little upset that my initial interest had 3 emails sent to me regarding copying others product. I live in Georgia and work for the highway patrol. The emails were directly in quote :said "I will make perfect copies of any VHS or DVD for you." I guess it is just part of the job to react this way. I began my research on the internet and looked at many of the schools and products you all recommended, and Thanks. My first Google search was "billiard instruction" and www.billiardinstruction.com appeared at the top so I began there. I searched through it and was directed to www.billiardsanctuary.com where I ended up purchasing the DVD's. I later found them on Ebay for approx. $70.00 less but this doesn't bother me as long as they are what they are advertised to be and I am happy. I received them this morning and my first impression with the packaging and the wood display stand is super. I began watching Volume 1 and stopped about half way through just after he talks about the cue stick. I went to my room and looked at what sticks came with my table. I think I would like a really good stick and this is the reason for this additional writting. The instructor talks about the Predator and the green jump stick. Just checking to see if this is the one for me to purchase right now. :) It looks as if this instruction is exactly what I was looking for. I am sure I will be busy during the days. Stay safe and buckle up!

If you're in GA you might want to consider Grady Matthews he is in SC last I knew.
I'm sure others will have other suggestions now that they know where you are.

If you are available, Randy Goettlicher is bringing his Cue Tech pool school on the road to Charlotte, NC Oct 14-16 this year. Randy operates one of the most respected schools in the country, and Charlotte is a lot closer to you than Dallas. You may want to look into this, if you are serious about learning the fine points of the game.
Send me an e-mail if you need more details.

People were offering you what you asked for! They were also trying to save you some money, (And perhaps make a dollar or two.) Relax dude.

And I do not agree with posting/quoting PMs in a public forum. They are private messages and should remain that way.

Mark, I just purchased the complete set of 10 from the Billiard Sanctuary for the listed price of $269.95 for all 10. I don't think you should be copying DVD's and selling them, that is against the law. I will notify the people you are copying and suggest to them that they take appropriate action against you.

I received a few emails from some people on this site already telling me that they are willing to copy and DVD and sell to me for $5.00. This is very dishonest and I will not be a part of that.

SFreedman,

You sound alot like JPeters from CCB, which alot of people feel is really TIM WHITE shilling his own DVD's.

Call me a cynic, but when I look at your posts, all 7 of them, it soounds like the same ol crap again.

Let me make a prediction that all your future posts will talk about how great the DVD's are. Maybe you'll talk about "going" to the school and what a life altering experience it was

For somebody that was initially interested in just having a variety of sources for instruction and only 4 posts on this forum...you seem to be coming on real strong about now taking personal action against someone and notifying the company that puts them out in order for them to be prosecuted.

Are you really Spiderman working to make earth a perfect crime free environment? Or are you a part of the Billiard Sanctuary that's not only trying to get publicity and exposure for the DVD's, but are now pissed off that they're not being ordered and paid at full price. Seems kinda strange to me....(maybe you're the new Pope)

Bill,

If you're bored and want to kill some time, check out "JPeters" on CCB. It sounds like the same ol, same ol from the Vermont Oyster

NJ Oyster (LOL),
I suspect you're actually from NJ, unlike the Australian Oyster who is from somewhere else.
I also suspect you're right about the true identity of SFreedman since he recently posted a separate thread in praise of White's DVD, even though he could of at most had 2 days to go through them. I further suspect him since he was so reluctant to initially give his location and really attacked people making the DVD's available, then when he saw that generating a lot of bad press and suspicion he was instantly apologetic. Me thinks me smells a rat.

Does JPeters also work for the highway patrol in Georgia? I was hoping that he really did. I could use some help getting out of future speeding tickets which I'm sure I'll get. I'd be willing to trade some lessons out for a helping hand. Oooops...looks like I'm sure to get locked up now for bribing a police officer.  (luckily I have a friend or two in the FBI so I don't think his call to them will help) :D

Steve,

There is a very good instructor in the Atlanta area by the name of Wade Crane. He is a former World Champion pro player and a hell of nice guy...great instructor, too. His instruction rates are reasonable....not cheap, but reasonable. If you want to check him out, let me know and I can hook you up. Also, Johnny Archer will give lessons when he's in town and time permits, but it's sometimes hard to get time with him because he's so busy and on the road so much. I can try to hook you up with Johnny too, if you prefer that...both Johnny and Wade are located on the Northwest side of Atlanta...convenient to the Marietta/Roswell/Kennesaw area. Wade is generally MUCH easier to get hooked up with.
