import cues sold by Rackum ...

I bought two of the cues Rackem is selling for $100 or two for $185 shipped.

They arrived today and I had have checked them out.

These cues are real veneers and inlays ... no paint or decals.
They look very well done.
The finish is not clear coat but it is nice and slick.
The butts are well made and have an adjustable weight bolt.
The radial pin is not the standard thread and will not fit my maintainance arbors.
This should not be a problem unless you try to use another shaft.

The shafts are nice clear maple with hardly any discolored streaks.
The profile almost a straight taper and a very stiff 13 mm.
If you play three cushion you might like these shafts just like they are.
They will also make a great break cue.
However, others may want to consider having them re-tapered to a smaller size and more flexible profile to use as a playing cue.

These are not high end customs but will make a good player.
For the price they can not be beat and would also make excellent gifts.
I plan to upgrade the tip and ferrule and then re-taper the shafts down to 12.75 mm.

Better get one before they are all sold out.

Thanks Bob. You know I have had these cues available to me for a long time. I have always been a stainless joint guy. I started playing with one of these a couple of weeks ago and have been quite impressed. :yeah:
