IN-house leagues: who has vibrant ones?

Who--what poolroom--has the biggest/best in-house leagues in North America?

Or what rooms might be candidates for a top-10 list?

Amsterdam Billiard Club in NYC may be up there. I just joined a few weeks ago, and they have a lot of leagues that are all pretty packed; both team and individual leagues.

I was curious as to the average ranking in the team 9-ball league at ABC. I didn't think it would take that long, but ended up having to enter almost 200 records for just the team 9-ball league! (If anyone is wondering what the average speed is, it's roughly a C+).

bump!

Come on now, there's gotta be some good ones or some honorable mentions......??

The bar I play out of has 3 inhouse leagues that run year round. In the fall and winter, we usually have about 80 people between all 3. In the spring and summer it's...... Lets just say, lots of dead bunnies:D .

I think if the bar did a bit more to promote the leagues, we could get those numbers up over a hundred, but then the format would probably need to change a bit to make sure everyone played everyone else at least once.

TJ's Billiards...

...in Portage, IN. A great place for developing young male and female talent. This non-alcoholic establishment has 8-ball league on Mondays and 9-ball leagues on Tuesdays. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Fathers and mothers can play leagues with sons and daughters. (3-person teams).

Some of the young kids have developed into state champions. The girls graduate as competitive mixed bar-league players. And TJ's have the BEST tables in NW Indiana, 2 real tight Gold Crowns and 12 Valley bar tables.

Alexanders Wednesday Night In-House in Arizona. (BCA league)

It has multiple BCA State Champions, both Singles and Teams ......It has the recent Reno Bar Box 8-Ball Champion in the league.....(and his team is NOT in first place)

I don't know if it qualifies as the "biggest" in the country, but I would think it would be ranked for one of the longest running and most popular leagues in the country.

It has to be the most poplular in the state (at minimum)

Fast Eddie's in Fairfax VA is probably not in the running, but I'll mention it because this thread is kinda slow so far. I play in the Thursday night APA 8-ball league, we have 14 teams in 2 divisions that play side-by-side. It's a fun atmosphere, everybody jokes around and takes things easy (no noticeable sand-bagging, nobody sharking, almost no rules arguments), although several of us are very serious about the game (and at least one of us is a pissy, angry loser if plays poorly, not naming names).
