In Philadelphia June 12-13

Going to be in Philly in a few weeks. Looking to learn more, maybe take a lesson or meet fellow azbers. In the past I went to Tacony Billiards and hung out with Kid Delicious but that place has since been torn down.

Last time I was there , I drove up to New York and met Ron Vitello at Steinway.

Any ideas?

Agreed, looks awkward from the outside, but a nice place with nice people on the inside.

Interesting house tournaments, too ... 5 Bucks entry fee,Handycapped 9-Ball, loser pays for the table, re-buy in allowed
Tables are pretty cool (though rediculously fast) ...

Yeah Appleton's about an hour away in Allentown I think...might be a good lesson option.

And +1 on the Drexeline comments. Nice place, and very nice people by poolroom standards. Pleasantly surprising actually. The people at Fuscos aren't mean, but not as outgoingly friendly as Drexeline IMO. They keep to themselves a bit more.
