Billy Gibbs was just plain obnoxious last night, he gave me a headache trying to watch the match, I finally gave up and muted the sound, I couldn't take any more of his loud mouth in the booth anymore....His job should be to just bring updates between matches. I get upset at Danny sometimes, but he is 1000 % better then Gibbs in the Booth , just my opinion...he just wouldn't shut up with his continued jabbering, when he is in the booth, I mute the sound....

You're exactly right. I like Danny. Sure he misses calls and can barely see the balls but he's got some great anecdotes about the old days.
Gibbs acted like a know it all ass. Almost combatitive, confrontational. Reminded me of the 17 year old punk in the pool room who thinks he owns the place. Felt sorry for Mark, at least i could mute him...

Most pool players I know like Billy I & Danny D for their knowledge of the game.
They played pool when if you didn't make money, you slept in the car ( if you still had
a car ). Pool stories ( aka: cuttin up jackpots ) , has always been a great part of pool.
They give you a peek into how pool was in the 60's & 70's ( The Golden Age of Pool ).
Its sad that you can go into most pool rooms and ask people 'who is SVB, Dennis,
Buste, Bergman, Corey, etc. Very few of them know or care who they are. And don't
even ask about Eddie Taylor, Eddie Kelly, Bugs, Spinner, Cornbread, etc.
Billy & Danny keep pool alive. Live forever guys. You can't be replaced!
