Incident w/ Tony Watson in Duluth, GA?

I really don't think there is a choice here.

From my experiences (many) with people on hard drugs, I have concluded that they either will or won't become addicted depending on their chemical makeup.
I also know Ricky and knew Louie. Both came from good families. Both played excellent pool.
Louie was once told by a good consular that he could kick the habit but only IF he never went into another poolroom for the rest of his life. At the poolroom, he was a celebrity and was a different person all together than he would be in the general population. That may have been true but was also impossible.
Personally, I have done Cocaine, ONCE (Chi, 1985) and never had any urge to even try it again. Same with Pot. WHY?
I think it has to do with your chemical makeup and is predetermined at birth weather you will or won't become addicted to a particular substance. My brother was "in the gutter" over 30 years ago from alcohol and now is one of the most respected, successful investment bankers in the Midwest. Why not me? I can & do drink 3 or 4 beers every day of my life and then that’s it. I'm done and want to eat and never drink after eating. (It's hard to drink when you’re sleeping).
I agree with Watchez that - However it has to be done - IT HAS TO BE DONE!

The cue in this picture

I saw the brand-new Josey cue that was made for Tony Watson at the U.S. Open, too. It is a beautiful stick for sure. I took a few pics of Tony over at the Holiday Inn. He was so very proud of this custom-made Josey cue stick. It has light blue inlays which match Tony's baby blues! BTW, Tony was straight as an arrow when I saw him at the Open this year.

Tony Watson is a very talented player. I hope all parties involved in the referenced incident have made peace.

This particular cue in the picture is the one that Tony pawned to a friend of mine in Greenville a few years back for $1000. He never paid the money to get this cue back by the way.
