I"m not sure if this works, but I need to find a way to get my drive for the game back. I love the game, the technique, the stars, the attitudes, the techniques. . . .but that doesn't really create internal drive! Soooo. . .How can you fix bored or undriven?

I have this crazy idea. . .I think I'm going to track my runs when practicing game patterns. My hope is to set a number I'm at now and then set some targets to get to quick. I guess where I'm going is that I probably run 4 - 7 on average now. If a guy can bump that to 7 - 9. . . there is a lot of nine ball which can be won for the guy who can run 7-8 balls consistently!

Any other ideas how to get the Mosconi game face on?

right track

I think your definitely starting on the right track by setting realistic goals. If your running 4-7 balls now you could try playing the 6 ball ghost. Once your beating 6 ball move up to 7 ball and so on. This is a good drill to find out exactly where your runout capabilities are.

I had the same problem a couple years ago, my game was stagnating and my desire to play was at an all time low. I did 2 things, I took up golf again and I got some lessons from Scott Lee that put my game back on track to improving.

You just inspired me to go on a short road trip and beat the sh#$ out of some unsuspecting hopeful players. I mean torture them until they don't want to pick up a cue again. What fun!

Thanks, man.
