indiana pool instructors

Hi,

I'm currently on leave from Seoul Korea here in Indiana, I know that there are a lot of AZ posters from indiana here and was wondering if there are any instructors that can help me with my game while im in town. I will be here another two weeks. I have been playing about ten years and am probably only rated as a low 6 on the apa league. Anyone out there that can help? and how much would it cost? I'm in a rut with my game and need someone to check my fundimentals.

Where are you? There are probably a couple of people around the State who would help you. Before you offer to pay someone, check out their qualifications a little bit though. I've known some people who owned pool rooms and thought that made them qualified to teach. When in fact, they had no clue. No sense paying someone to hurt your game. Just my opinion. Sam:)
 
check out the BCA (Billiard Congress Of America) website for instructors in Indiana. i know of three, one in evansville, one in terre haute, but cant recall their names. and, of course, Tom "Dr Cue" Rossman from cloverdale. but Rossman only does the group lesson thing anymore, he gave up individual lessons a few years ago. too bad too.

p.s. if your wanting someone to show you how to get bad rolls and bad luck all the time, and how the laws of physics dont apply when you play, come down and spend 10 minutes with me.
 
where are u located? woody_968 is in terre haute and is a bca certified instructor send him a pm if u are in that area

you'd probably have better luck finding someone on here to meet up with and play than finding an instructor, i am in lafayette there's a few others from lafayette on here, satman is in muncie, DCP is in loogootee, there's a lot of good players on here from indy and a few others down around evansville

Thanks for all the info guys, I would love to hook up with anyone to play, Im in Noblesville, and its pretty tough to get away too long because the wife and kids havent seen me in six months. Maybe I could get away for a few hours.
