Infamous Sigel/Reyes Match

Does anyone know why the Peter Vitalie Invitational Sigel v. Reyes match was so controversial? I don't have the accu-stats video on it and am wondering if it's interesting enough to purchase it.

Any information would be very appreciated!

I am interested in that also, I have the Hall-Sigel match from the tourney and they show a little bit of the match between Efren and Mike but thats about it, they don't really tell you what happened.Anybody out there help us out?
 
I dont know if that is the same thing but I have a video of a match that Mike played Efren at Hard Times. It is a 2 tape match that features Mike playing Efren Banks, One Pocket, and Nine ball. Mike actually throws in the towel after Efren drills him I believe this took place in the early 90's and is shot on one camera. Pool Action Video run by a guy named JJ out in LA has copies.

JJ also taped the very famous Efren one-hole match against the Professor.

hey JC what about me? I get 10% of your 10%. LOL!!!! Hey JJ's got a lot of good stuff. I got a Efren plays Busta one hole up at Hard Times in Sac. Also that Grady versus Efren was an old Accustats tape that Pat did with one camera no commentary. Just saw a McCready vs Sniper (not the guy from England) in a x-rated commentary by Grady. That was funny.

I have those tapes too. Keith plays Toby somebody. lol
Nasty tape. Toby scratches on the 9 on a hill-hill match.
The tape of Busta-Efren was hilarious too. Efren said Busta plays a pretty good one hole now.

Tim, did you play in Ohio at one time? If you are who I think you are, I played you in the Ohio State Open in 92 or something at Starcher's Billiards.

Travis you have the wrong guy. I have lived in WI my whole life and have never shot any tourneys in Ohio. Any of you guys interested in dubbed tapes I have a bunch of old and newer stuff taped off of tv. ESPN, Prime and some world championship stuff with all games shown taped off a Canada channel. I am always looking to trade, contact me at my e-mail for more info.
 
I would like to see the Efren-fransico match if anyone would like to trade let me know.
 
Search on ebay (by seller) for "tenfttall". He has the videos you're discussing as well as others with Reyes,Daulton,Spaeth. I'd like to hear how good they are.

Joseph Cues, would that be the same Toby out of Las Vegas? He runs a PH there and has matched up in 1H with Jack Cooney several times. Gave up 9Ball to concentrate on 1H.
 
No that Toby is a different one. Accustats does have a tape with Toby from Vegas on it. I dont know his last name. They also have a tape with Jack Cooney. Call them But these films do not show Jack and Toby's true game. For that you have to see them play a long session.
 
I watched them play a 3 day marathon at Bellflower Hardtimes for 40 and it plain wore me out. The 1st night Toby was 5 or 6 ahead and I had to leave, thinking the match was all but over. On the way out I spoke with "Little Al" Romero and he said that Jack would come back as he was a "war horse and a warrior." Damned if he wasn't right.

Gerald, different Toby.
Toby from Vegas was the one who beat Archie the Greek. Great one hole player.

You must be referring to Toby Flaherty who's the owner of Cue Club on Sahara and his win over Harry Platis. Is the other one Toby Sweet?
