Hey guys...

do any of you all have the BIG diamond table light or one made by another manufacturer that you like? I have an old Brunswick Anniversary 9ft. but my light is not so good. It's left over from the table I had before and is really too small for my taste (shadows on the balls and not quite enough coverage) I have seen the really nice ones from diamond but I know there are other options out available.

If someone has pics or dimensions of ones they own, have seen, or built, I sure would like to see them. Not sure if I'll buy one or try have it made (buddy is a fantastic cabinet maker)

I would really like to know the dimensions and see any pics if you could help me out.

thanks in advance

check my previous posts... i have a thread where i am making my own light in my free time. there is plenty of info on the subject there.

bump! for any info.
I have gotten a couple of responses and they've been helpful so thank you... Still looking though.

You know i'm out of work John. For a small fee i will stand over you with a flash light and shine it where you want. I will even tell you what you do wrong when you make a mistake.:smile:

It's in the grid

I made a "Diamond" light by using a ceiling fixture and replacing the grille with the Diamond style.

I contacted Diamond and explained what I wanted. They cut me a piece of their special mirrored finish grille and I put it in the light.

That's what makes the Diamond lights. That grille is what allows the light to shine rail to rail with almost no shadow

so I've researched the "parabolic light diffuser" that is used in the Diamond lights and it certainly seem like the best thing going... so they just sold you the light diffuser? if so that sounds like the ideal situaltion. do you have a name or number of someone over there that helped you out? was it expensive?

thanks
