Anyone have an information on Armand Pirollo? He was my great uncle on my mother's side of the family. He passed away a number of years ago, but my mom was looking though some old stuff and came across his business card. I have had the picture of him; I think it is from the early 50's. He passed away about 12 years ago.
He lived in the South Jersey Area, Turnersville, I believe. According to him obiturary I found, it stated that he narrated on ESPN "Classic Billiards" but have no idea when that would have been, late 70's maybe, or early 80's?
I recall my grandmother saying she watched play up and down the East Coast several times, playing several big name players, but she really can't remember.
Form what I understand there is a bar in south Jersey that has a number of articles about him from various newspapers, and trophies. I can' verify this, but this is what I heard, but never got a chance to look for the joint.
I have attached his picture and a scan of the card.
I'm in the process of cleaning up the picture, in hopes to blow it up to poster size for display in my billiard room (literal translation - workshop/basement).
