I replaced my 2 week old Titan cloth with Velocity Pro on my my 8' Olhausen on friday. I am not a pro at this by far but I have replaced cloth on 4 other tables before but was the woolen cloth...not the worsted type.
After 11 hours and a few blisters I finally got it finished. It plays about the way I was hoping as far as speed was concerned. I was averaging 4-1/4 rails with the Titan and now getting 4-3/4 rails with the Velocity.
A few mistakes I did notice after I was done was around the pockets (especially the sides pockets) I noticed color shade changes due to probably more stretch of the cloth in those areas. I have the euro blue and has darker streaks of blue on each side of the pockets where it may have been stretched more. Is this normal or just a tell tale sign of a my inexperience with this stuff? Btw,I used the Simonis suggested installation instructions off their web site.
