ok when you are putting on the rubber I always use contact cement, you paint on both sides and then wait about 4 or 5 min. and start sticking.
do you use anything to keep the top of the rail straight or just eye ball it.
next question is once it is on and your going to cut the angle. do you just try and follow the angle of the wood on the rail or is there an angle that you are trying to cut it to. maybe use a square to find the angle.
