I tried to contact instroke by email about this issue but have received no response.

What kind of maintenance do I need to do on this case. Should I put any mink's oil or saddle soap on it? The web site mentions leather cleaner or conditioner but gives no recommendations.

Opinions please?

Any good auto parts store will have many choices for leather cleaners and conditioners for automobile seats, all of which should work fine. Most contain lanolin and I've found even any good hand cream with lanolin in it will also work just fine.

Otherwise, you can just let it get some real character like this 40 year old ginacue case.....

You might also look into neats foot oil. I've used in on my buffalo case and am pleased with the results.

You might want to try "Lexol" Cleaner and also their conditioner, recommended by makers of motorcycle leather goods. They're available at good hardware stores, Auto Parts stores, or shoemaker shops. I use it on my Instroke Buffalo and it doesn't darken the natural color. I also use it on my leather wraps, as well as my car seats and leather jackets. It doesn't leave a greasy finish like a lot of the other brands, but protects well.
