How heavy are they ?
I have a loaded up 3/6 jb that’s kinda heavy and was looking to downsize to a 2/4 of some brand and instroke is one that came up

Movie gif. Ted Knight as Judge Elihu Smails in Caddyshack, stands in a yellow polo shirt in a group of people. The elderly white man eyes grow wide. He shakes his head and leans his head forward with an exaggerated, open mouth. Text reads, Weeeell???We're Waiting!!!

From my understanding a 3×6 jb case is about the same size as a 2x4 instroke case. This is because the interior of a jb case takes up less space. Honestly if you want to downsize I'd just get a smaller jb case. Nothing wrong with Instroke it's just that a jb will last longer and hold its value better

Used jb case would go for about a buck fiddy
Not a lot of value
I’ve got plans for one lol

Just want something different, I’ve got several jb cases
the two instroke cases I’m looking at tho are kinda pricey but pretty

Yeah, I love my instroke case and have had it for 10+ years. If more space is what you want, then this is probably not the direction to go. It's also lacking a larger pocket and the jump cue pocket is not big either. Additionally, instroke is also a pretty heavy case. They are tanks with leather wrapped around hard tubes though so protection is top notch. The cues will rattle if that bothers you. Regardless, great cases and I would buy another.

If weight is an issue then you don't want a case with individual plastic tubes.

Unless those tubes are the thin poster tubes which are easily crushed.
