After searching the net I have found very little info about it. Seeing as I'm 5 min from Mo Sun I would love to go.

Does anyone know who the 4 players are? Any websites? Should I even go seeing as there is some scheduling issues with the US Open? Thanks for any info.

The Challenge of Champions, at the Mohegan Sun, is scheduled for Oct. 23 (men) and Oct. 24 (women). I have no idea who will be playing, but it's likely to include Darren Appleton for the men, and Kelly Fisher for the women.

Google Mohegan Sun they have info there.

The men play on the 23rd of Oct. @ 3:00, Tues.
The women play on the 24 of Oct. @ 3:00 Wed.
The trick shot portion is on 25 of Oct @ 3:00 Thurs.

I think the times are right, but check.
It's in the: Wolf Den

This is a privately owned, privately funded invitational tournament. The owners invite whoever they choose. It is not based on "who beat who". If you want to fund a tournament and invite the "Poland guy", than go ahead.

They should include the Poland guy, they all lost to him in recent tournaments.

Inside tip, Harp:

When I was more than a decade and a half younger, I spectated at 5 consecutive annual C of C's in the late '90s when I lived about an hour's drive away. On Men's Finals day, they'd generally start taping the combined 2 semis and the ultimate final match at 4 PM (maybe the times have since changed slightly, I dunno).

I'd get there *around noon* and be the first on line at the playing area entry door to ensure a great first or second row seat. I'd quickly make friends with the fellow early birds who joined the line and we'd agree to provide each frequent times for a bio break (food, leg-stretching, restroom) by spelling each other from time to time and holding each others' place in the line.

If you have the time and leg and conversational stamina to do likewise, it's a fun experience: you get a great seat, see yourself on the eventually telecast show, and always make a number of new fellow pool-addict friends within the region.
