I think sharing tools is useful. Its a tutorial for anyone that wants to try producing their own film studies.
Its common for top athletes to have film study.

I am trying to get people interested in computers, pool or video production.

Justin the audio on your video is so low it can barely be heard. Not even sure if you mentioned the software you're using but what you are doing is very specific to that software, whatever it is.

Think about the end user and what they are going to gain from your presentation and work backwards. Unless a person has in their possession and is familiar with whatever software you are using there is very little here of value.

Sorry to be blunt but as a school teacher I'm sure you don't like to be mollycoddled. "D-"

I appreciate the feedback, I know it takes a lot of work to develop something polished. clearly my work is not.

The direction of my video wasn't clear before i produced it.

I just want to promote making pool videos. Combining pool culture with computers, is not something I thought about until recently.

based on what I am seeing on the internet, other people like doing it too. Even if its not professional production.

When I think back on buying Byrnes book for the first time and learning the shots, progress was slow.
With the internet, people like showing classics trickshots and some making their own version of it.

Blender is difficult software to learn (typically used for 3D modeling and graphic design). Open Shot Video editor is a simple and free tool that lots of people use for simple video editing:

This is speeding up my production time.

I hope you see the benefits in the next video.

The next direction is making a video to make your own pool statistics.

Thanks

thanks for the referral/link.
tried one editor, kept messing it up, the video.
thinking subtitles for adding scores to the video.

I started using movavi because I wanted something beginner-friendly but not too basic. The drag-and-drop interface made it simple to put together clips, and it has good audio editing, which might help with the low sound issue you mentioned.

It also has a free trial, so you can test it before committing. If you're interested in refining your pool analysis videos without a huge learning curve, this could be a good option: https://www.movavi.com/learning-portal/best-video-editing-software-for-beginners.html.
