Longish story: so, my wife made me move from a house I was happy in. I agreed on the condition that I could get a 10 footer in the new place. I was lucky to get Joe Marra’s awesome Gabriels Imperator he was selling in Scranton, PA. I live in Iowa. So I got myself a Penske truck and, with my brother’s help. I got that beauty to the midwest. I had to wait till the new house was ready before installing it. And there aren’t a ton of table technicians in the midwest that even know how to spell carom.
But I was ridiculously lucky to get the mythical Yura (who was setting up a table not too far away) to drive a bit further and set mine up. I’m attaching the pic to prove it (yes, my wife hates the green felt. I got Simonis to sell me black 300 rapide. Sounds weird but looks pretty good.)
My wife didn’t like my abacus-type counter, though. I tried to buy an electronic one, but those are expensive. So I went ahead and made an app for my iPad. This one:
apps.apple.com
I think it came out ok. It keeps track of inning and averages. It doesn’t look like crap. It’s user-friendly.

If you have suggestions on improvements, pass them along. I’m not much of a coder, but I’ll try.
