Iphone & IPad - Watching streaming such as TAR PPV's. Feedback & Testers needed

I am buying today's feed to catch the loop. Celtic guilt-tripped me into it since I paid $15 for the crappy mosconi cup feed. :-)

I will send my report.....

Edit: preliminary report using the mosconi cup hahasports feed (sky sports broadcasting fishing now) - I ran the same feed on the laptop and on haha at the same time using the crappy internet at work. The laptop is going through vpn, the ipad is not.

At the beginning both feeds were streaming ok but the quality of the Skyfire feed is bad, very pixelated, watchable but barely. The laptop feed is normal, not hd, not perfectly clear but much better than the skyfire one.

Then after a little bit the skyfire feed started to hang up and now it's frozen. The laptop feed started to get jumpy and now it's frozen as well. After closing the Skyfire feed and refreshing the laptop it came back no problem.

After closing the laptop feed and opening the Skyfire one only it came back but is lagging and stopping every 5-10 seconds.

Hopefully it will be better later from home where the connection is faster. I think though that Skyfire is deliberately degrading the quality so that they can restream faster. Which is a bummer if true because it's too pixelated for me to enjoy it.

It's my understanding that it is being looped after the 1st night is over, but right now it is far from over for the night. Right now it is Oscar 16 - Raj 9.
 
Because of this thread I bought Skyfire for the Mosconi. It worked perfectly on my IPad. When I compared it with my pc it was running about 5-8 seconds behind but the picture and sound quality was just as good. I was very impressed. No time for Tar tonight but I look forward to the next one.
 
I'f I can watch the TAR stream on iPhone or iPad, it would be great.

I am out quite a bit on the weekends, so it's hard not being able to watch the stream since I usually have a little bets on them.
 
iPhone and iPads

Skyfire does not work on the poolactiontv site (Bigtruck Shows). Photon and Puffin from the app store or iTunes. They both work. I think puffin works okay. Easier to use. Photon has more bells and whistles but harder to use.

Sky fire does not work on the poolactiontv(Bigtruck)sites. While on the white ustream page-password works. But when it changes to black screen-keyboard won't come up to put in password. Photon and Puffin both work. Puffin works easier. You can get both from the apple app store.
 
sky fire works for TAR. pretty good quality. I let it run for hours and fell asleep and when I woke up Mark was still complaining about pool. :-). kidding.......
