Iphone stream vs Laptop stream

I want to purchase the one pocket stream for Frost and Alex. My question is should I plan on streaming the event using my Laptop or can I use my iPhone? Is there any quality issues or differences based on which device I use? If this has been covered before please accept my apologies. Thanks for all the help. And a special thanks to Ray for the stream. I had the privilege of meeting him at The Derby this year and he is one awesome guy.

Ustream on my iPhone 6 or my desktop or laptop is sharp as a tack (or sharp as the quality of the stream allows). No perceivable difference based on device.

However, the video quality is significantly lower on my iPad Air 2 (with a Retina display!!). I think this is a problem with the Ustream app and how it upconverts for the retina display.

Youtube streams I've seen no difference in quality.

Thanks for the reply. I felt fairly confident the stream potential of each device would be great, just double checking.

If you've already got an iPhone then spend another $99 and get you an Applw TV
That's the way to go.
