IPT faster cloth for qualifiers -vs- slow for tournaments?

I heard that the cloth for IPT qualifiers may be different (faster) than the cloth used for IPT tournaments. Is this correct?

The reason for this I heard was that pool room owners did not want to install slow cloth on their 9 ft. tables. I don't know if any of this is correct or not?

Slow Cloth!

Your rite the rooms don't want to install the slow cloth.
To late for us we ran a Qualifier and did 20 tables with that stuff
We have been open over 15 years and never had so many players Complain about the playing conditions

PS: We Love The IPT But That Cloth Has To Go!
