I think it would be easy for Kevin Trudeau to have the seats filled with interested spectators.
Tickets to the events would continue to be sold but the price would be escalated to $200 each ticket. After your desired presence at the event was confirmed, the IPT would mail you $150 or the full $200 of your ticket price. Shelling out $200 for a ticket to a sporting event is a big number for most people but if you are getting most or all of it back, you would be far more likely to attend.
Ticket purchasers who could not attend because of whatever would have the option of allowing an interested party to take their place and would still receive the reimbursement.
Also, having the rooms discounted 60% for the spectators would be an additional incentive for prospective attendees or apply the same reimbursement procedure as to the ticket sales except cut a deal with the hotel.
Or, you could have an IPT SPECTATOR card which would allow you to receive reimbursements after the event, kind of like the rewards that the players get for participating in the events.
Afterall, it isn't the spectator's penny ante money that KT is after but the advertiser's dollars. Even the most popular national TV shows advertise FREE TICKETS to their shows, why not the IPT?
