We had IPT King of the Hill on at my local bar and everybody was glued to the TV!
Even a non-pool playing type (Joe Bar-Customer), liked it quite a bit. He said "I would rather watch 8-ball [on TV]." So I asked if he watched pool on TV and he said yes, but he would rather watch 8-ball than 9-ball since he sometimes (rarely) plays 8-ball himself. He was glued to the TV.
Everybody seemed to like it including the very serious pool players there.
Most important, I think you will get the "masses" with this show. I like the guest super-stars from other sports idea. Not boring, kept everybody's attention, etc.
Only thing is no one there would have known about it if I did not tell them to watch it. So few people (in my area) seem to know it is on TV. Maybe word of mouth will spread the word...
