Just wanted to share a few things I have seen this week in the UK. There was a decent almost full page article in the back of The Sun newspaper at the weekend about Ronnie O going to vegas and the IPT. The Sun is a bit like the New York post but unlike the USA its a national paper and probably the largest selling of the lot (probably due to the infamous page 3)

Also I was a bit suprised to see the "pick of the day" for the weekend section of the TV guide was again the NA Open IPT pool championships. Just goes to show how big cue sports and the snooker guys are in the UK.

i didnt see the feature but it's good and encouraging to hear. the main problem i think with your average person in the uk is that people think it's english pool like they are used to seeing in the pubs. somewhat consequently also, people also see pool as the little inferior brother of snooker.
