Irish linen wax?

Someone told me that there is a wax or sealer to use on Irish Linen to make it smooth and slightly tacky. Does anyone know what it is or where to get it?

Super market, Wax paper. Not kidding it works.
Just don't do it to much because of build up.

will it make it shiny too? i need to make my linen shiny again..the black colour os fading away a bit.

No not really and if you use the wax paper to much it will leave a white film (wax)
