I believe Paul Frankel [ProfessorQBall] mention about a 3 Cushion Tournament been held . But I see by Dieckman website http://www.cuemaker.com. There a possible qualifying tournament for USBA JR Nationals.

Great News for 3-Cushion Players
Two Qualifiers for the USBA National Championships
at the Derby City Classic.

Three beautiful Gabriel’s 3-Cushion Billiard tables will be featured for the two USBA Qualifiers. This year the qualifiers will take place in the main building in the Drink Water Room. Winners of each of these tournaments will be receiving a free entry & cash into the 2007 USBA National Championships. Entry fee is $125 and must be a paid up USBA Member. Play will be limited to 15 players for each of these two qualifiers and will be paying out 6 places.

The first qualifying tournament will be played Friday, Saturday and Sunday, January 5,6,7th. The second qualifier will be played Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, January 9-10-11th. Each of the two qualifiers will be 3 flights of a 5 man round robin. Matches will be to 25 points. Paid entries guarantees spot. For more information on USBA Qualifiers call the tournament director, Paul Frankel (Professor-Q-Ball) at 901 756-2594.

Each player that enters the USBA Qualifiers will receive a FREE complimentary pass to see the Derby City Classic throughout the entire 9-day event, that includes bank pool, one pocket, nine ball and straight pool.

On January 8th, as an extra-added attraction Mazin Shooni (The U.S.B.A. National 3-Cushion Champion) is offering a special A’Mazin Clinic for beginners and advance players. This 2-hour clinic will help take your game to the next level. Early registration is suggested. For more information call Paul Frankel at 901 756-2594

USBA JR NATIONALS- Age Parameters

I receved an email from Dieckman :
This to clarify the age limits for the Juniors. The player must be younger than 21 on 1 Jan 2007. That is - if their birthday is that day [1 Jan 2007] they are NOT eligible. But if their birthday is 2 Jan 2007 then they are eligible.

Call Dieckman if you have a player!!! At 734-428-1161

Donations, send a check to The USBA Sec/Treas
payable to the JR Billiard Fund [ and send me [Dieckman] an email cuebuilder@cuemaker.com letting me [Dieckman] know you done so].

Go to USBA website : http://www.usbilliardassn.org for USBA Secrectary/Treasurer address and more information on membership for players.

 The Dec/Jan/2006/2007 issue of ProfessorQBall magazine, mention " Due to over whelming response, a 3rd qualifier has been added to the event" . But the article fail to give the time or date for the 3rd qualifier! Maybe Professorqball [Paul] can clarified this?

That's great news. Is there a charge for spectators? I never get to see any 3 cushion play. An added treat for me, I'll be there Jan 9,10,11 at least. Thanks for the info. I will also follow your links to make a donation.

George, I don't known if there a charge for spectators at the 3 Cushion Tournament. But your could PM either Bob Jewett or professorqball.
Paul can also be email at this website.http://www.professorqball.com/contact.php

I know a donation would be appreciated. Whether for the Dieckman Junior tournament or Paul Frankel 3 Cushion tournaments.
Bob
