Is G-10 tip legal on a jump cue?

I have a shaft with a G-10 one piece ferrule/tip and it jumps extremely well. But I am confused as to whether it is legal in the major pool leagues when used as a jump cue only. Not as a breaker.

FYI... I play on a in house league where jump cues are not allowed. Thus the lack of knowledge. I appreciate your input.

Thanks!

100% legal on a dedicated jump cue anywhere I've played.

Excuse my ignorance, I'm an old guy, but wtf, they check your cue for legal tips?????????????based on whether you are shooting, or breaking or jumping or just jacking????????????:eek:

Certain leagues have restrictions on tips you can break with (the BCA had a rule that the tip must be leather on a break cue but they changed it back this year) however ive never seen anyone actually check a players equipment but im sure it has happened

It makes no sense to me that a G-10 tip would be legal on a jumper but not on a breaker. Looks like you would do more damage to the cue ball shooting down on it when jumping. But I guess you break more often. Go figure.
