I knew I had sent this style before ...I would agree I'm pretty sure it's a joss also 68-72, although I can't explain the fact there is nothing on the buttcap other then it's been changed .Can you tell if the joint and windows are ivory ? Here is an example of a similar joss steel joint .

Verl Horn was famous for his ivory butt plates like this and ivory joints.

Great find and it's a keeper... But I could wrong.

Verl was my first thought on the cue also. 1970 seems too early for a Joss 3/8-10 pin.

Joss built Cues with no logo. Looks like 72-74 Joss. It is a quick sale at around 1K.

True. Well known they made cues without logos at this time. Very cool old school cue.
