Is it easier/is it possible to re-thread a shaft, or is it easier to replace a joint pin in a butt?

If you have them do what I suggested, it will take 5 minutes. Offer them a bottle of their favorite drink and it will be all set

He did just what you said. Both fit fine now. I offered him 200rmb ($20) and he said 'no worries, happy to help' and wouldn't let me pay him... I transferred the money to him via. WeChat and he didn't accept it (and he likely won't :ROFLMAO:)

Now begins the process of readjusting to this cue. Amazing how you can spend a week adjusting to a temporary cue, and then you have to readjust to something you've used for a really long time...

Anyway, thanks for all the help here :)
