I'm looking into having a cue made for me and I was looking at other cues for inspiration. I started to notcie that I havent seen a cue that has a 3 high 3 low point layout. So I started to wonder why? I dont know much about cue making but I cant see why this would be impossible, if it is possible I would much rather go with that layout than the traditional 4 high 4 low.

Thanks for any input.

Six pointers with three high points and three low points are quite common. E.g., the vast majority of South West cues are like that.

Did you mean 3 high 3 low being traditional and 4 high 4 low being rare?
