Is it worth it?

Hi there,

I have an old Brunswick 'Montecello' (from the 70's). It has a couple of issues that I'd love to have fixed, but I'm not sure if it's worth it to spend the money on it, or get a new table?

issue 1) - the table isn't 100% stable. If you lean on it to stretch to make a shot, you can feel the table shift slightly.

issue 2) - the plastic edges of the drop pockets don't line up flush with the rail. The edges of the pockets stick out slightly (can kick a ball out if hit at the right angle).

Just wondering if someone knew if it's possible to make the table rock solid, or do all the old montecellos have some 'shift' to them. Also, if it can be fixed if you knew a ballpark figure to fix it.

Would it be worth fixing up, or is it smarter to just put that money into getting a used Gold Crown instead?
