Is this a decent repair lathe

Hi fellas..i know that one day i will want to "try" and build a cue..one day..in the meantime, i have seen several people on here suggest starting by working on my own cues, replacing tips, ferruls etc. This lathe seems like a decent price and is sort of near me. Is this a decent lathe for making repairs etc? Here is the link:

kinda crude looking, would be a b---h to adjust.

but if the chuck and elec motor are ok, it's well worth the $ :cool:
