Ha ha, I edited out the part about what pissed you off because when I reread the thread I though maybe you were referring to office staff.:thumbup:

We have our own issues. A very big country with concentrations of population and wealth, the associations tend to follow. I think all our associations are struggling, but some are near death. Here we have a bunch of little pool communities and a couple of large pool communities, that sometimes don't get along apparently. From a year ago but you'll get the idea :

However,I am very glad that there are also people who does the most as they can for the good of the game and pool in general.
I also know that this kind of people can be found everywhere and without them pool wouldn't exist at all.
However,they are very rare and even more rare they get at high positions where they would be able to help more.Rare are those who put some extra effort to bring something in to pool and not just to take something out.
I also say that all of us should give more contribution as well,and say something ,at least sometimes about what they think it's right.

Good post. I hope we can maintain our local association and keep holding provincial championships. The CBSA is doing OK with the Canadian nationals under the circumstances.

I am glad I cannot be pissed by them any more.Not in the way I could.
Just saying it is very sad that there are so many pool enthusiasts all around the world and that we can't do better than this???!!!Here,I met more than 150 ,I can be sure for that they are real pool lovers.
Do you ask this question to yourself sometimes ???

So,in the last 15 years almost all the time,not always but mostly all the time, some morons(man & woman) without any brain and without any knowledge of the game of POOL works as a secretary at Croatian Pool Association.And seems as more stupider you are more successful you can become.
I would like to hear all your thoughts about this specific topic !!!!
I would like to add that I am aware that at your place he/she can't work as a secretary at Croatian Pool Association,but can at your domestic.

You're kidding, right? Here in the USA, this runs rampant. We call it The House, The Senate and The White House.
 
This shouldn't be forgotten,so bump for "nice"and simple people who have a mental age from 7-12 years and who knows how to make their boss very satisfied,and who works at Pool Associations worldwide!
