For all who don't know, it's simple.

Look at the wood grain below the joint, see how far the grain lines are from one another?

See how the same grain lines nearly run from one side to the other in a matter of inches? Best when straight from the joint to the end of the piece, maybe that's why we never got pictures of the rest of the cue.
