Is this cue worth it?

A friend of mine just bid on this Pechauer and asked me if I thought it was worth it. I don't know much about Pechauer's so I was hoping you guys could shed some info. It seems as though iit's a decent price to me?!?

I have seen the cues in some of the halls but I have never hit with one.
Seems to be a good price for the cue.
BB 3rd Edition has MSR of $340.

The "street" price is about $300 new, so I think he did fine. The couple of Pechauer's I've tried have been decent, well made cues and I thought they were pretty decent players too.
